CO-PARENT CONSULTATIONS

Our goal is to create a safe and supportive setting to help parents create a plan for co-parenting. Our services focus on helping separated or divorced parents decrease conflict in their coparenting relationship. With the coparenting consultation sessions, we work to improve communication and increase the coparenting skills. We work with you to create a plan to talk to your children about divorce and separation, future goals and the impact divorce and separation will have on them. Our hope is our clients can work to make decisions together about their children and minimize the impact co-parent conflict can have on children as they grow.

MEDIATIONS

Family mediation is a process where a mediator, an impartial third party, assists you in making mutually agreeable decisions about you and your child(ren). An important part of the mediator's role is to help you keep your communication respectful with each other and to help you stay focused on finding workable solutions that are in the best interests of your child(ren).

Civil mediation is a process where an impartial professionally trained mediator facilitates negotiation between those in dispute. Our civil mediation is a more cost effective way of reaching settlement than entering into court / legal proceedings. We do not take all Civil Mediation cases, but do evaluate them on a case by case basis and will issue appropriate referrals if it is a case we are unable to mediate.

MONITORED COMMUNICATION

Our monitored communication program utilizes Our Family Wizard and provides a venue for parents to communicate and work through their disagreements, resolve misunderstandings, parenting conflict, and design a strong, child-centered communication for their children while implementing respect for each other as parents.

The goal of this program is to work with parents on their communication pit falls, meanwhile documenting for local courts the entirely of communication between parents. 

This tool is useful for Guardian ad Litems seeking a one-on-one approach for parents in a heavy amount of high conflict communication problems and often streamlines toxic communication between parents.
